My name is Erica Mayo, and I bring over 15 years of experience serving diverse communities in healthcare and public service roles. Throughout my career, I’ve been passionate about helping individuals navigate complex systems with clarity, respect, and compassion.

I previously worked with the Tri-County Health Department in the Senior Dental Clinic, where I supported patients with registration, scheduling, insurance verification, and Medicaid/Medicare benefits. Prior to that, I spent over 10 years with Strive Health Clinic (formerly MCPN) as an Outreach Enrollment Specialist, assisting families with federal and state healthcare enrollment. I also had the privilege of working closely with the HIV/AIDS community to help assess and secure health benefits, work that was both meaningful and deeply rewarding.

I believe in meeting people where they are, ensuring they feel supported, understood, and empowered throughout their care journey. I’m proud to be part of a team that values accessible, patient-centered mental healthcare.

I’ve been married to my wonderful husband for over 30 years, and we have two amazing children in their late 20s who make us incredibly proud. Outside of work, I enjoy traveling to Mexico City, spending time gardening, training for 5K walk events, and reading faith-based inspirational books. My faith brings me peace and grounding in every season of life and deeply influences both how I live and how I work.
